RCR Wireless News MEXICO CITY—Mexican mobile operator Grupo Iusacell said its customers can now send short message service messages to rival operators Telecel’s and Unefon’s handsets in the United States, Canada and Peru.
Iusacell said subscribers of its SMS service, called ReK2, can send text messages to any Iusacell-covered city for the same price, without roaming or long-distance fees.
